Facebook is a social networking site which originally started life in the United States – a creation of student Mark Zuckerburg.\u00a0 Facebook has since gone global and now accepts registrations from everyone.\u00a0 Facebook allows you to build your own profile as well as play games, send messages and chat.<\/p>\n

Facebook is no doubt one of the kings of social networking.\u00a0 Originally only available to University students in the US its now gone global and ever since has generated an ever growing user base and popularity.\u00a0 The site can be used to organise events, chat to friends and play games.\u00a0 Its main rivals appear to be MySpace and Bebo.\u00a0 Facebook currently appears to be ahead of its rivals in the popularity charts and, although coming in for critisism on occasions on issues such as privacy, remains an extremely popular website.<\/p>\n
