Update: 01/03/2020: 12:30 - Both apps are now available again. No word on what has caused the outage but things appear to be returning to normal now - aside from some sporadic reports of slow access and login issues.
Popular EA Mobile apps, including Command & Conquer: Rivals and The Simpsons: Tapped Out appear to be suffering an unanticipated extended outage with some gamers unable to access the popular applications since early evening on Saturday night.
There’s no official word from Electronic Arts at the moment but the outage appears to be global, with users stateside reporting the same problems on Twitter:
Popular monitoring website Down Detector has also revealed a spike in issues accessing the game and logging in reported by users over recent hours:
No updates are available for either game at the moment on the App Store and there appears to be little more that beleaguered users can do at this moment in time other than patiently wait for details from the developers.
